Greetings Sorors and Friends!

On behalf of the members of the Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I welcome you to our virtual home and I am hopeful you will gain insight into who we are and what we do in this great community.

As stated in our mission we are an organization of college-educated women who are COMMITTED to the constructive development of its members and to public service. We provide assistance to the Greater Cincinnati community through our five point programmatic thrust:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness and Involvement
  • Physical and Mental Health
  • Political Awareness and Involvement

Since its chartering in 1989 the Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae Chapter remains steadfast in achieving the goals of our organization and our 22 founders: to promote academic excellence, provide scholarships, provide support to the underserved, establish positive public policy and to highlight the issues of our communities.

Our dedicated chapter members continue to make positive impact on our local youth through our three educational development programs. As we continue work in all points of our thrust we are excited to announce that we were recently awarded a Delta Research and Educational Foundation (DREF) Community Empowerment Grant that will allow us to continue important programming in the mental health space.

We also enjoyed hosting our Midwest Sorors as (co)host chapter of the 48th Midwest Regional Conference held here in the Queen City!

For additional information on our chapter, please feel free to email us at cqcadst@yahoo.com.  Thank you for visiting and be sure to check back often for updates on events, programming, and scholarship opportunities!

Sincerely,

Mia N. Sears
